Tuesday evenings 7 to 9. Richard's healing classes touch on many of the over 15 energy/spiritual healing modalities he has worked with as well as life experiences that have assisted in his growth. All healing modalities have methods/tools of dealing with what affects you. His classes bring to you many methods that assist with healing of your Body, Mind and Spirit. The first four classes deal with Clearing and Protection, Using breath to heal yourself then others, Qi Gong and Yoga Introduction. Each class stands on its own, no pre requisites required other than a live body in any condition.
Class participation. Please wear loose fitting comfortable clothes to all classes, leave your problems and fears at home and enjoy!
May 6 Clearing and Protection. For beginners to advanced.
The first step in learning any healing modality or technique for yourself and to help others should be to clear and protect yourself and not using your own energy to heal others. Many people who start healing others naturally pick up the persons energy that they are working with and what is bothering them transfers to the healer. This create a need to clear, after the healing is done, all the energies that are picked up. This is easily avoided by learning to clear and protect yourself before and during the healing.
We will learn and use a number of strong techniques to assist your journey through life and make it an enjoyable one!
May 13 Using breath to heal yourself and others. To me this is the second basic step for any healer to learn. We will be experiencing a very powerful breath work that can assist in the changes you need.
Breath work is used In Yoga, Qi Gong and many healing modalities. It brings in and clears out many energies. It can be focused and used to heal. Learn breath techniques that have been used to clear asthma, clear energy blockages, removing stress from the body and to focus energy.
Please wear loose fitting clothes and bring with you a blanket.
May 20 Qi Gong
(pronounced "chee gong") is a combination of two definitions: “Qi” means air, breath of life, or vital energy of the body - life force and “gong” means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline and achievement. Qi Gong is working with your life force energy – Qi. There are over 10,000 forms for Qi Gong with an infinite number of possibilities. We will explore both the mental and Physical types of qi gong. Qi Gong can be practiced anywhere and at anytime. Much of what is taught in other energy healing modalities have been taught for thousands of years in various forms of Qi Gong. Start a wonderful journey.
May 27 Yoga Introduction
Yoga works on all level of our mind, body, spirit. Yoga is one of the best ways to remove stress, stretch our minds and bodies and nourish our spirit. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Its barefoot time! All ages and abilities welcome (yoga can also be done in a chair!)
